SSC CGL Exam: The process of online application has been started by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) to recruit a total of 6506 Group B and Group C posts in the Central Government Ministries Department and other organizations.

The online application process has been started by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for the recruitment of a total of 6506 Group B and Group C posts in Central Government Ministries, Departments and other organizations. Candidates are to be selected for these posts through the CGL 2021 exam. Candidates wishing to apply for SSC CGL 2021 exam can apply on the official website of the Commission, ssc.nic.in till 31 January 2021.

SSC CGL 2020 exam notification released on 29 December

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued notification for Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2021. According to the SSC CGL Notification 2021 released by the Commission on Monday, 29 December 2020, CGL examination will be conducted this year for the recruitment of a total of 6506 posts of Group B and Group C in Central Government Ministries, Departments and other organizations. According to the SSC CGL 2021 schedule issued with the notification by the Commission, the process of online application has started since December 29 with the release of the notification.

SSC CGL 2020: Total 6506 posts in Group B and C

As per the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2021 notification by SSC, candidates are to be selected for a total of 6506 posts. Of these, 250 posts belong to the gazetted category in Group B and 3513 posts are non-gazetted. At the same time, recruitment for 2743 posts in Group C will be done through SSC CGL 2021 exam.

SSC CGL 2020: Learn eligibility criteria

Only those candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized university or other higher education institute can apply for Joint Graduate Level Examination, 2021 of Staff Selection Commission. Candidates from the final year or semester may also apply. However, such candidates will have to pass the examination by 1 January 2021. In addition to the educational qualification, the age of the candidates should be minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 1 January 2021. However, the maximum age limit for some posts is 30 years. At the same time, a provision for relaxation in the maximum age limit has also been made for the candidates of reserved classes (SC, ST, OBC and others). For more information, visit the link given above SSC CGL Notification 2021 download.
