Comedian Vadivel Balaji dies due to heart attack

South Indian cinema actor Vadivel Balaji dies today at age 45. He was also known for mimicry and imitating the body language. Vadivelu, passed away earlier today morning at the Government hospital in Chennai. As per reports, Vadivel was admitted at hospital in Chennai after suffering a heart attack.

The comedian was suffering paralyzed following the attack and had been under treatment for 15 days past. After not being able to manage the expenses at that hospital, he is said to have shifted to a couple of other hospitals and finally to the Government hospital this morning. Unfortunately, efforts to save him proved futile and he passed away this morning.
Interestingly, Vadivel Balaji was shooting for Mr & Mrs Chinnathirai 2 until a couple of weeks and had apparently got eliminated as well from the show. He first rise to fame through Vijay TV’s Kalaka Povadhu Yaaru and became a part of Vijay TV’s comedy team. He acted in few films too and the roles were similar to what Vadivelu do in his movies.
Though he made his television debut with ‘Kalaka Povadhu Yaaru’, he became popular with the game show ‘Adhu Idhu Edhu’ hosted by Sivakarthikeyan. Vadivel Balaji had in fact grown close to Sivakarthikeyan during the show. Director Nelson who was the script writer on the popular television channel, made his debut as a director with Nayanthara starrer ‘Kolamavu Kokila’ and he had given Vadivel Balaji a role in the film.
