Due to increasing cases in some states, the condition of corona in the country is getting serious. There is a sharp increase in new cases in Maharashtra and Gujarat as well as in Tamil Nadu and Punjab. On Sunday, there were 678 cases in Maharashtra, while 27 people lost their lives, while in Gujarat where 374 new cases were found and 28 people died. 266 new cases were reported in Tamil Nadu and 150 in Punjab. According to the Union Health Ministry, 83 people have died and 2,487 new cases have been reported in the last 24 hours with the death toll being 1,306 and the number of infected being 40,263.
Uncontrollable Corona in Gujarat
Corona in Gujarat does not seem to be under control, especially in Ahmedabad, the situation is becoming alarming. There were 374 cases in the state on Sunday, of which 274 are in Ahmedabad itself. While 5,428 are infected in Gujarat, their number has increased to 3,817 in Ahmedabad. On Sunday, 23 out of 28 deaths occurred in Ahmedabad, the highest number of deaths in a single day.
The situation worsened in Punjab and Tamil Nadu too
The coronavirus has suddenly started to worsen the situation in Punjab and Tamil Nadu. In both states, the number of infected people has started increasing rapidly. On Sunday, 150 new cases were reported in Punjab and the number of infected increased to 1,133, while in Tamil Nadu the figure reached 3,023 with 266 new cases. The need in Kerala has been completely under control for the last few days. For the past few days, new cases are being found there. So far, 499 infected cases have been found in the state, out of which only 95 active cases remain. However, in Andhra Pradesh, 58 new cases have been found and the number of patients has reached 1,583.
Cases increasing in Uttar Pradesh too
In Uttar Pradesh too, new cases are not being stopped. Another 139 cases have been reported in the state and the number of infected has reached 2,645. 22 new cases have been found in Bihar and the figure has reached 503. There is a decrease in new cases in Madhya Pradesh. The number of victims has increased to 2,767 with five new cases. Rajasthan has also reported 71 new cases and the number of infected has reached 2,832. There has also been an increase in new cases in Haryana. 50 new cases have been found and the number of patients has reached 4,46.
111 foreigners in total cases.
According to the news agency PTI, 111 foreign nationals are also involved in total cases of infection. Maximum 548 people lost their lives in Maharashtra. According to information received from the states, 28 people have died in Gujarat, 27 in Maharashtra, three each in Rajasthan and Punjab, and one each in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu in the last 24 hours.
Restrictions in Meghalaya relaxed
The government of Meghalaya has announced several exemptions from May 4, including partially removing curfews. However, the ban on public and religious gatherings will remain in place to prevent the spread of Kovid-19 in the state. Not only this, according to the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs, but the curfew will also remain in force from seven in the night to seven in the morning.
19 new cases in Ladakh
In the Union Territory of Ladakh, the infection has started increasing. After a few days, suddenly 19 new cases were reported on Sunday and the number of infected has increased to 41. At the same time, Corona’s positive cases have increased to 701 with 33 new cases in Jammu and Kashmir.

58 new cases in Andhra Pradesh
The total number of infected people in the state has reached 1,583 after 58 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. In Punjab, 20 people have died from this deadly disease, while eight in Jammu and Kashmir, four each in Kerala, Bihar and Haryana have lost their lives. Three people have died due to Kovid-19 in Jharkhand.
