New Delhi, ANI. 5 trains carrying stranded students, migrant laborers, and others in other states have completed their journey. Railway officials said that these trains have been started at the request of the state governments. These include Hatia from Lingampalli, Aluva to Bhubaneswar, Nashik to Bhopal, Jaipur to Patna, and Kota to Hatia.

The last train of the day departed from Jaipur for Patna Junction on Saturday at 00:18 hours. Apart from this, a special train left from Kota railway station on Friday, and all railway employees including RPF were seen appreciating the passengers going from the station.

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Human Resource Development had given permission to migrant laborers, workers, students, travelers, and others stranded in other states to visit their states. Only after this step has been taken by the Railways. Meanwhile, the lockdown period, which ends on May 3, has been extended by two weeks and the lockdown will be held across the country till May 17.
