In the wake of Independence Day, the security of the Red Fort has been tightened. On August 15, the IB has issued a high alert. In which it has been said that the bosses of Sikhs for Justice living in America have announced to give 1.25 million dollars to the flag hoarder of Khalistan at the Red Fort on 14, 15 and 16 August. A video has also been released regarding this. Since then, security has been tightened in and around the Red Fort. As Independence Day draws closer, all security agencies, including the Delhi Police, have increased vigil.
Such strong security arrangements are being made that no one can kill Parinda. According to a senior official of the Delhi Police Security Branch, police verification of tenants and other outsiders residing there has been done by visiting all the houses and shops in the radius of three kilometers of the Red Fort. The verification work started two months ago. Yamuna Khadar has a large number of slums behind Lal Qila. Thousands of people live in Lajpat Rai Market, Chhoti Mor Sarai, Badi Mor Sarai, Bhagirath Place, Anguribagh, Dariba Kala, Shishganj Gurudwara and Cycle Market on the other and two sides.
A case under section 188 was registered against 300 landlords and shopkeepers for negligence in getting police verification done in these areas. The policemen went door to door and did the verification work. The police are closely watching all the crowded markets including all the railway stations and bus stands in Delhi. The vigilant police have also started checking the vehicles for several weeks by placing barricades on the roads in place for strong security. Police patrolling has been increased near all important buildings.

People of Delhi are being made aware that the terrorists do not succeed in their own plans. Appeal is being made to the landlords to keep the information of every person living with them. Common people, local shopkeepers and rickshaw drivers are also being asked to immediately inform the Delhi Police Control Room on receiving the suspicious person or information. Intelligence agencies are apprehensive that terrorists may spread panic on Independence Day. So for this, all security agencies including Delhi Police have come up.
Police has been deployed in crowded places. Major roads are being monitored to prevent movement of anti-social elements. It is also a precaution that the suspects should not be allowed to come to Delhi. For this, vigilance has also been increased on the borders of the capital. People are being allowed to enter Delhi only after intensive checking of private vehicles coming from outside states for many days. Along with police, the awareness of people can also play a very important role.

Actually the general public is the eyes and ears of the police. Therefore, in addition to pasting the identity cards of the terrorists at every place, every possible effort is being made by the police to make people aware. Adequate number of police forces have already been deployed at all important places. They have been asked to be vigilant. No one will be spared for negligence in security. Two control rooms have been set up to monitor CCTV cameras installed around Lal Qila. A control room has been built in the Red Fort outpost from where Delhi Police officials will keep an eye on every visitor and a second control room was built inside the Red Fort for CCTV cameras on the Red Fort, from where the security branch officials and security agencies Will keep watch.
