New Delhi. The central government has made it mandatory for all government and private employees to use the Aarogya Setu app. This app is designed to promote efforts to fight the COVID-19 epidemic. The Ministry of Home Affairs has asked the local authority to ensure that all people living in the Containment Zone will download the Aarogya Setu app on their phones. Explain that the government has once again extended the lockdown till May 17. It has also made it clear that it is mandatory for everyone to download the Aarogya Setu app on their mobile phones.
The Ministry of Home Affairs said that ‘all the people living in the Containment Zone should download the Aarogya Setu app on their phones. It will be the responsibility of the head of the respective organizations to ensure 100% coverage of this app among employees.
The Aarogya Setu mobile application helps users identify whether they are at risk of COVID-19 infection. It also provides important information to people, including how to avoid coronavirus infection and its symptoms. Explain that this app works through contact tracing and with the Bluetooth connectivity of the user it detects that there is no corona infected around it. If it is, how far is it? You will know from the green, orange, and red colors of the app. If you are safe that there will be a status of green color.
