World Laughter Day 2020: The first Sunday of May is celebrated as World Laughter Day which is being celebrated on 3 May this year. Every year many communities celebrate it by gathering in one place, but this time due to Corona, people are celebrating it online. We all know that when we laugh we feel light inside us, we feel relaxed. This is a good exercise because of which we can stay healthy every day, not only with the body but also with the mind. The secret behind celebrating this day

In 1998, the idea of ​​World Laughter Day, the founder of Worldwide Laughter Yoga Moment, Dr. Madan Kataria, came to mind. He believed that ‘when you laugh you change and when you change the whole world changes’. It is celebrated in more than 70 countries worldwide. Let us tell you that Dr. Madan started Laughter Yoga Moment in 1995. Its purpose was to bring the expression coming from laughing in the face of people which affects the emotional activities inside them. Because of this, the message of the good start of brotherhood and friendship goes on a global scale. Do you know that the first Laughter Gathering became known as ‘Happy Demic’. It was celebrated in the year 2000 in Denmark. On this day in history, most people had laughed together, so the name of this celebration is also recorded in the Genies Book of World Records.

People today go to Laughter Club, Public Gathering just to laugh and smile. You can see that the comedy culture started from here and many famous comedians got a chance because of it. Now people also take improvisation classes to become comedians. To celebrate this day, people share jokes in their social media accounts, watch a comedy movie with friends.
