A petition has been filed in the Madras High Court against Virat Kohli, the captain of the Indian cricket team. Virat has been accused of promoting online gambling i.e. online gambling and has also demanded arrest. Apart from Virat Kohli, a case has been registered against actress Tamannaah Bhatia, making the same allegations.

In a petition filed by a Chennai lawyer, the petitioner has sought directions from MHC to ban online gambling, stating that the youth are getting addicted to it. The petition further states that online gambling companies are using stars like Virat Kohli and Tamannaah to brainwash the youth and hence, both should be arrested for this. He also referred to the case of a young man who had committed suicide because he could not return the money taken for online gambling.

Let us tell you that these days online matches are played and they are also promoted by cricket stars. Virat also promotes online games. These days, Virat Kohli is also at home like other Indian cricketers and is preparing for the IPL after the date of the 13th season. The IPL 2020 will begin this year in the UAE from 19 September and its final can be played on 8 November. However, it is being said about the final that it can be held on 10 November.

After the IPL is over in the UAE, the Indian team will leave for Australia directly from there. In Australia, Team India has to take part in a four-match Test series and after that a series of three ODIs will be played between the two countries.
