IPL 2020 CSK vs SRH Match Report: The 14th match of the 13th season of the Indian Premier League was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings in Dubai. The match was won by Sunrisers Hyderabad. Hyderabad beat Chennai by 7 runs in a thrilling match. This is Chennai’s third loss in IPL 2020. Chennai’s team is currently at the bottom of the points table.

In this match, Hyderabad captain David Warner made a decision to bat first after winning the toss and scored 164 runs in 5 overs in 20 overs with the help of Priyam Garg’s half-century. This way, Chennai had a target of 165 runs to win the 2nd match in IPL 2020, but Dhoni’s men were able to score 157 runs after playing 20 overs. With this, Chennai team lost their 3rd consecutive match.

Hyderabad innings 

After winning the toss, the Sunrisers Hyderabad team got the first blow on the total of 1 run when wicketkeeper batsman Johnny Bairstow was out without opening the account. He was bowled clean by Deepak Chahar. Hereafter there was a 46-run partnership between Warner and Manish Pandey, but Manish Pandey scored 29 runs in 21 balls and became the victim of Shardul Thakur.

Hyderabad suffered the third blow as David Warner, who was dismissed for 28 runs off 29 balls. Kane Williamson was run out on 9 off the next ball. A 77-run partnership between Abhishek Sharma and Priyam Garg for the 5th wicket. Abhishek was dismissed for 31 runs.

Priyam Garg did the first fifty of his IPL career. He scored a half-century in just 23 balls. Priyam Garg batted in challenging times and also got the team out of trouble. Priyam Garg was unbeaten on 51 and Abdul Samad scored 8 runs.

CSK innings

CSK opener batsman Shane Watson’s collection of poor batting also continued against Hyderabad and he was dismissed for a single off Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Ambati Rayudu, who returned from injury, can not walk in this match and lost his wicket for 8 runs. He was bowled by T. Natarajan. Fof Duplessis was run out after scoring 22 runs. Kedar Jadhav could not do anything and he was caught by David Warner by scoring 3 runs off the ball of Abdul Samad.

For Chennai Super Kings, Ravindra Jadeja hit his first half-century of IPL 2020 with the help of 5 fours and 2 sixes in 34 balls. He was dismissed on the next ball. MS Dhoni returned unbeaten after scoring 47 runs and also Sam Curran 15 runs.
