Nobel Peace Prize 2021: US President Trump nominated for key role in Israel-UAE peace deal
President Donald Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize next year (2021 Nobel Peace Prize). Norway MP Christian Tybring Gjedde has nominated Trump for this prestigious award. According to Fox News, Norway MP Christian Tybring Gjedde has written a letter to the Nobel Committee to award Trump. Gjedde recommends the award to Trump for a peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is. Earlier in 2018, Trump was nominated for the award to resolve the dispute with North Korea.
Gjedde wrote in the letter, “Hopefully, after the peace agreement between UAE and Israel, other countries of the Middle East will do the same.” The deal will be a game changer. This will increase mutual cooperation and prosperity in the entire region.
Gjedde said – look at the facts about the Nobel Committee
Gjedde said, “I’m not a big supporter of Trump, but other leaders should follow Trump in terms of decision making.” The committee should consider the facts in awarding the award. Not at all how they behave sometimes. I think Trump has worked to bring peace between countries in the same way as another nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize. Those who have won the Peace Prize in recent years have done far less than Trump.

So far, four US presidents have received the Nobel Peace Prize. The prize was awarded to Theodore Roosevelt in 1906, Woodrow Wilson in 1919, Jimmy Carter in 2002 and Barack Obama in 2009. The award was given to Obama for strengthening international diplomacy and increasing cooperation among the people.
