RBI Office Attendant Recruitment 2021: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has invited applications by issuing a notification for the recruitment to the posts of Office Attendant. The application process has started on RBI official website rbi.org.in from 24 February 2021. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website. The last date to apply online is March 15, 2021. A total of 841 vacant posts of office attendants are to be filled through this recruitment.

Educational Qualification and Age Limit
Candidates applying should pass 10th standard (SSC). At the same time, the age of the candidates should be between 18 years to 25 years. Age will be calculated as of February 1, 2021. That is, candidates should not have been born before February 2, 1996 and after February 1, 2003. There is a provision for relaxation of maximum age limit to the candidates of reserved categories. Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through online written test and language proficiency test (LPT).
Selection would be done on the basis of Online Test (as given below) and Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

Online test except the test of General English will be in bilingual, i.e. English and Hindi. There will be negative marking for wrong answer in the Online Test. 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to pass with minimum prescribed mark in each subject of Online Test.
Exam pattern
120 objective type questions will be asked in the online written examination. Questions from Reasoning, General English, General Awareness and Numerical Ability section will be included. 1 mark will be prescribed for each question. The duration of the examination will be 90 minutes. Candidates need to keep in mind that the online written test will be based on negative marking. Pay Scale:
Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹ 10,940/– per month in the scale of 10940 – 380 (4) – 12460 – 440 (3) – 13780 – 520 (3) – 15340 – 690 (2) – 16720 – 860 (4) – 20160 – 1180 (1) – 23700 and other allowances, viz. Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Grade Allowance etc., as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments for Office Attendants is approximately ₹ 26,508/-. Office Attendants who will not be staying in the accommodation provided by the Bank will be eligible for House Rent Allowance @ 15% of pay.
Identity Verification- Biometric Data Capturing or by other mode
The Bank reserves its right to conduct biometric verification/other mode of verification any time during or after the selection. In case, if any candidate is found not to be genuine, then apart from taking legal actions against them, their candidature will be cancelled.
