SSC CGL Application 2021: Important alerts for young candidates seeking government jobs in Central Government Departments and Ministries like CBI, NIA, CAG, CPWD, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of External Affairs, Enforcement Directorate, Central Narcotics Bureau, etc. The application process for the recruitment of 6506 posts in these departments and ministries is going to end today, 31 January 2021. The candidates for these vacancies are to be selected through the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2020 to be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). Registration for this exam will close at 11.30 tonight. However, after registering today, candidates will have till 2 February to submit the application fee online and till 4 February for offline. Who can apply?
For SSC CGL Exam 2020, only those candidates who have passed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline from a recognized university or other higher education institution are eligible to apply. In addition, the candidates should be minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 1 January 2021. However, the maximum age limit for some posts is 30 years. There is also a provision for relaxation in the maximum age limit for the candidates of reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC and others). For more information, visit the link of the above notification.
The Application Process
To apply for the CGL exam 2020, after visiting the SSC website, the candidates have to go to the registration page by clicking the link of ‘New User – Register Now’ in the login section on the home page. After this, candidates will be able to register by filling the Aadhaar number and other sought details. Then by logging in with your user name and password, candidates can complete the registration step for the CGL exam 2020. After registration, the candidates have to submit the application fee online.
