The largest public sector State Bank of India (SBI) is offering graduate youth an apprentice opportunity. SBI has started the online application process for 8500 Apprentice vacancies in its branches spread across various states and union territories across the country from today, November 20. Candidates who want to do apprenticeship in SBI can apply the prescribed procedure by visiting the official website of the bank, sbi.co.in. As per the apprentice recruitment advertisement released by the State Bank, the candidates will be able to submit their SBI Apprentice Application 2020 by December 10.

Who can apply?
For SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2020, only those candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any other higher education institution are eligible. At the same time, the age of the candidates should not be less than 20 years and not more than 28 years. The age limit will be calculated from 31 October 2020. However, there has also been a provision for relaxation in the maximum age limit for reserved category candidates.

The Selection Process
For SBI Prentice Recruitment 2020, the candidates will be selected on the basis of online written examination and local language examination. The first phase of online written test will be held in January 2021 with a total of 100 questions from General / Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Regeneration Ability and Computer Aptitude subjects. The duration of the examination will be 1 hour and the total marks prescribed are 100. There is also 0.25 negative marking in the written examination. Candidates declared successful in the written examination will be invited for the local language examination.
Training period and stipend
Through the SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2020 selection process, the selected candidates will be posted in the respective state and district branches. The duration of the apprentice will be 3 years. During the apprentice trainees will be given a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month during the first year, Rs 16500 per month in the second year and 19000 per month in the third year.
