New Delhi. Another corona patient involved in Nizamuddin’s Tablighi Jamaat Markaz died on Friday. With this, the number of people suffering from corona in Delhi has increased to five. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal gave this information. He said that the total number of corona patients in Delhi has reached 384. Out of which 58 people came from abroad. Out of 384 patients, 259 are people who had joined the Markaz. CM Kejriwal said that 91 new cases of corona have been reported in Delhi in the last 24 hours.
Earlier on Thursday, two corona-infected elderly people were killed. One of them went to Tablighi Markaz and the other elderly ran a shop near Markaz. One was an elderly Nizamuddin and the other was a resident of Tamil Nadu. Both were also diabetic.
Two patients on ventilator
According to the news agency PTI, two corona patients have been put on ventilator. CM Kejriwal gave this information on Friday. On Thursday, 141 new cases were reported in Delhi in a single day, of which 129 were collected. Not only this, a doctor of AIIMS, his pregnant wife and husband of a woman councilor were also found positive. The husband of a woman councilor in Delhi also went to Tablighi Markaz.
There are 536 people involved in the Jamaat recruitment
536 people evacuated from Tablighi Markaz are admitted in various hospitals, while 1810 people have been quarantined. Two Delhi patients were also discharged from the hospital.
CM said – infection did not spread in the community
Out of the total number of cases of corona infection reported in Delhi, 244 cases are from the last five days. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that Corona’s transition in the capital has not yet spread to the community. The number of people who have been found to be infected are mostly those who have joined the Jamaat. Reports of 182 people in the Jamaat have come positive, while 55 people have come from abroad and 31 people have been infected after coming in contact with the suffering patients. At the same time, the reasons for the infection of 25 people have not been known.
