The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates for the board examinations to be held in the year 2021. Accordingly, the 10th and 12th board examinations will start from May 4 and end on June 10. Practical (experimental) examinations will be held from March 1. CBSE said that the results of these exams will be declared on July 15.

The CBSE board had said earlier this month that the examinations would be through written medium and not online. Explain that due to delay in announcing the exam date, many schools started conducting pre-board examinations through online mode for preparing students.

Schools across the country have been closed since March due to Covid-19.
It is noteworthy that all schools across the country were closed in March after the lockdown imposed due to Corona virus epidemic. In October, some states began partially reopening schools. However, some states have so far kept schools closed due to increasing cases of infection.
