JEE Advance 2021: Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ today announced the date of JEE Advanced Examination and qualification for admission to IIT Institutions today, January 7 as per the schedule. The Education Minister said that the JEE Advanced Examination will be conducted on July 3, 2021. Also, the Education Minister said that this time the JEE Advanced Examination is to be conducted by IIT Kharagpur. On the other hand, regarding the eligibility for IITs, the Education Minister said, “We have not yet recovered from the situation of Covid-19 epidemic and due to this, like last year, this year also the requirement of admission for 75% in 12th Is not kept. ” However, the Education Minister did not make any announcement regarding the demand for additional candidates for the JEE Advanced Examination by students across the country.

Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ was soon to announce the eligibility criteria for admission to Bachelor’s degree courses at various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) across the country. The education minister was also to announce the date of JEE Advanced 2021 exam to be held for admission. Both these announcements were given by the Education Minister on his Twitter account during the live session. The education minister had already given information by tweeting about this session.

Earlier, education had also informed about the declaration of eligibility criteria for admission to IIT on January 4 and the date of JEE Advanced exam on January 7. At the same time, the dates of JEE Main 2021 were announced by the Education Minister earlier on 16 December 2020.

Why was it needed?

Admission to Bachelor’s degree courses in IITs is generally given on the basis of performance in the JEE Advanced Examination conducted for the successful candidates in JEE Main Examination. However, syllabus of central and state board examinations including CBSE has been cut by up to 30 percent due to educational activities disrupted by the Kovid-19 epidemic. With all, This time, due to the restrictions placed on regular classes in classrooms and preparation institutes in schools, the preparation of candidates has been significantly affected. Due to this, the candidates who are preparing for various JEE Advanced exams are being requested to make concessions in the eligibility criteria prescribed for admission to the Director of IIT Delhi as well as the Education Minister on various channels of social media. is. In view of these, later the education minister was informed about the announcement of the eligibility criteria and the date of JEE Advance for admission to IIT on 7 January 2021 at 6 pm.
