Washington, PTI The United States, facing the biggest threat of the corona virus, has approved buying ventilators, medical supplies and other personal protective equipment from Russia to treat infected patients. Concerning the Corona epidemic, the White House has warned that two million people may die in America by the next fortnight.
Following the telephone conversation between US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on March 30, the move to buy equipment necessary to fight the Corona epidemic has been taken from Russia.
State Department spokesman Morgan Ortagus said on Wednesday that phone conversations between President Trump and President Putin took place on March 30. The US has agreed to buy necessary medical supplies, including ventilators and personal protective equipment, from Russia, which will arrive in New York on 1 April.
