Beijing. In the midst of the Coronavirus epidemic, Indians, who have made the difficult decision to stop in China’s most-infected city of Wuhan, said that the only way to deal with the virus is to accept lockdown and social-distance rules.
Hydrobiologist T Arunjit, one of the people who were happy about the 76-day lockdown ended here, said that during this time he stayed in his room and used to visit his lab only after getting special permission. He was unable to speak properly due to not being able to speak for several weeks. India had evacuated about 700 Indian and foreign nationals from Wuhan in two special aircraft of Air India.

Arunjit of Kerala had decided to stay there. He says that he felt it would not be ideal for an Indian to leave from under difficult circumstances. They also feared that their parents over the age of 50 might be at risk of infection when they returned to India.

Still, many people are not leaving the house
Many people are not leaving their homes in Wuhan, even after the lockdown opened for nearly two and a half months. He remains afraid of infection. Arunjit and his scientists explain that this virus has many new features. Because of this, the infection is spreading more rapidly.
