New Delhi The third lockdown, which was implemented to prevent the growing infection of the coronavirus, has also reached its last stage, but the spread of the epidemic does not appear to be halted. In some selected states of the country, the infection situation is getting worse, with Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Tamil Nadu being the main ones. On Monday also, the highest number of cases were found in these states and the number of new cases in the country once again crossed three thousand. So far, about 70 thousand infected have been exposed in the country and more than 22 hundred people have lost their lives. So far, more than 20 thousand people have also become healthy.

According to the Union Health Ministry, in the last twenty-four hours, there have been 3,600 new cases and the number of infected has reached 70,768. During this period 97 people have died and the death toll has reached 2,294.

There is no less havoc in Mumbai

Corona continues to wreak havoc in Mumbai too. On Monday, 791 new cases were reported and the number of infected increased to 14,355. 20 people have also died. So far 528 people have died due to this epidemic in the metropolis. Talking about the whole of Maharashtra, on Monday also 1,230 new cases were found and the number of infected increased to 23,401.

Situation critical in Tamil Nadu

The spread of Corona in Tamil Nadu does not seem to be prohibited. More than five hundred new cases are being received continuously since last week. On Monday, the maximum 798 new faces were found and the number of infected people has crossed eight thousand. There are 38 new cases in Andhra Pradesh and the number of infected has reached 2,018. The figure peaks at 862 in Karnataka with 14 new cases. Seven new cases have also been found in Kerala. So far, a total of 519 have been found infected, but now only 27 patients remain in hospitals.

More than five hundred deaths in Gujarat so far

Things are not improving in Gujarat either. The state government has imposed all restrictions, yet Corona is not getting wrecked. There are 347 new corona positive cases in the state and the number of patients has gone up to 8,542. The same situation is also there in Rajasthan. On Monday, 126 new cases were found in the state and the number of infected reached 3,940. The number of patients has reached 725 in Haryana with 14 new cases and 1,934 in Punjab with 34 new cases.

More than seven thousand infected in Delhi

The number of corona patients in the national capital Delhi has crossed seven thousand. Including 310 new cases found on Monday, the number of infected people has so far reached 7,233. In Bihar too 28 new cases have been found and the number of victims has reached 724. 17 new cases have also been reported in Odisha. So far, 395 cases have been reported in the state.

53 new cases in Uttar Pradesh

Another 53 new cases have been reported in Uttar Pradesh and a total of 3,520 have been infected. The number of infected in Madhya Pradesh has reached 3,736 with 51 new cases.

In Bengal, the figure of infected crosses two thousand

Another 124 new infections have been detected in Bengal and the figure has reached 2,063. Two new cases have been reported in Assam and 64 have been infected.
