Tehran, IANS. Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said that the current sanctions imposed to curb the corona virus (COVID-19) spread in the country will be gradually reduced after a week. The IRNA news agency reported that officials have decided to ease some of the restrictions imposed in the country. As reported by the news agency Xinhua, President Rouhani said in a meeting of the National Headquarters for the management and fighting of the corono virus on Sunday that low-risk businesses would resume their activities from April 11 in various provinces except Tehran. At the same time, there is a plan to start such industrial units in Tehran on 18 April. So far, a total of 58,226 cases of corona virus have been reported in Iran, of which 3,603 have died.
Earlier, President Hassan Rouhani had said that after the good results of social distancing came out, now the ‘Smart Distancing’ scheme will be implemented to prevent infection in the country.
