London. In Britain, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has started to take over government affairs. He is currently recuperating from his residence, from where accessing the necessary files and giving instructions over the phone. PM was hospitalized after suffering from COVID-19. He has recently recovered from a hospital after being in intensive care for several days.
Instructions given to senior ministers over phone
According to The Sunday Telegraph, Johnson has started giving instructions to his ministers and senior officials. Soon he will start giving full time to the country as the Prime Minister. In recent days, Johnson had given necessary instructions over the phone to Foreign Minister Dominic Robb and other senior ministers, who are temporarily handling the government. On Friday, he had a three-hour meeting with ministers and officials to review the situation arising out of the coronavirus. Minister Robert Genrich says Johnson is currently making the necessary phone calls and giving most of the instructions through his office.
Prime Minister Johnson came out of the hospital a week ago and is now recuperating on the advice of doctors. But he is having an urgent meeting with Foreign Minister Rob and Chief Advisor Dominic Cummings. Cummings also returned recently after completing her confinement upon receiving symptoms of coronavirus infection.
