As such, US President Donald Trump has said that his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, gave the United States a very good offer to deal with the deadly coronavirus. A top State Department spokesman said Wednesday that Putin offered medical aid during a telephonic conversation between two world leaders on March 30. The US agreed to buy from Russia ventilators, medical supplies and other personal protective equipment, which are necessary to treat patients infected with COVID-19.
