Kolkata, PTI In view of the ever increasing cases of corona infects in India, the Government of India has decided to impose a 21-day lockdown in the entire country.

During this lockdown, people in all cities of the country have been appealed to stay indoors.

This step of the government is very commendable for dealing with Corona, but everyday earners will face a lot of difficulties.

Cricket Board of India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly has decided to help people in this difficult time.

The corona virus (covid-19) has extended a helping hand to the people of unorganized areas in the lockdown to reduce the impact of the epidemic.

Ganguly has come forward to support those affected by the 21-day ‘lockdown’ and will donate rice worth Rs 50 lakh to the underprivileged.

The Bengal Cricket Association (CAB) issued an official statement on Wednesday giving this information.

He told that Ganguly along with Lal Baba Rice has taken an important decision to provide rice to the needy people.

It was also told that rice is currently kept in government schools due to security.
