1. Gandhi – Richard Attenborough’s film ‘Gandhi’ on the life of Mahatma Gandhi in the year 1982 is honored with Oscar Award. In this film, Mahatma Gandhi was played by Hollywood actor Ben Kinsley. The film ‘Gandhi’ won 8 Oscars. This film is one of the best films made on Gandhiji’s life. The film was directed by Kamal Haasan. ‘Hey Ram’ is based on the riots that followed the partition of the country and the subsequent assassination of Gandhiji. 4. Gandhi, My Father – National Award Winner film ‘Gandhi, My Father’ was released in the year 2007.
