The ICMR has asked all states to perform rapid antibody tests to identify Kovid-19 hotspots.

New Delhi The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has requested that all states perform quick rapid antibody tests to identify COVID-19 hotspots. In a letter to the Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary (Health) of all the states, Dr. Balram Bhargava, Director General of ICMR has referenced the convention identified with a quick rapid antibody test.

India got five lakh rapid antibody testing units from China on Thursday. These packs are being sent to the states. These are to be utilized in those areas where more instances of contamination are coming. As per Dr. Raman Gangakhedkar of ICMR, the fast immune response test isn’t planned to test the crown rapidly, yet it will help in observing the region and identifying the pattern of the disease there.

Dr. Balaram Bhargava stated, ‘The National Task Force has examined the encounters of numerous nations with respect to the utilization of these test units. The examination methodology has been changed based on the outcomes got from them. Rapid Antibody tests don’t confirm corona infection, yet distinguish flu contamination. This will help in understanding the pattern of contamination in a region and to be careful.
