IPL Winners: Complete list of teams that have won IPL titles since 2008
The start of IPL 2020 is going to be in a short time. So far, there have been 12 seasons of IPL in which Mumbai has won the title 4 times, while the team of Chennai Super Kings has been successful in winning the title 3 times . In such a situation, Chennai and Mumbai together have captured the title 7 times in total. The first season of IPL 2020 was played in 2008. Since inception, there are 5 teams that are no longer part of this tournament. So far in IPL history, there are only 6 teams which have succeeded in winning the title. A total of 8 teams are included in the IPL, while in 2010, 10 teams played in the tournament. Apart from this, in the year 2012 and 2013, 9–9 teams were part of the tournament. This time a total of 8 teams will compete with each other team to win the title in IPL 2020.
In 2008, the team of Rajasthan Royals was successful in winning the IPL title for the first time. In the final, Rajasthan defeated Chennai Super Kings. In the IPL 2008, Shane Watson became the Man of the Series, playing for Rajasthan Royals.
In the 2009 IPL, Deccan Chargers Hyderabad’s team was successful in winning the title. In the final, this team defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore. Adam Gilchrist was successful in winning the Man of the Series title that season.

In the 2014 IPL, KKI won the title for the second time by defeating Kings XI Punjab and in the final. Man of the series became Glenn Maxwell.
In the 2015 IPL season, Mumbai Indians did a wonderful job of winning the title. This was the second time when Mumbai was successful in winning the IPL title. Chennai Super Kings lost against Mumbai in the final. The man of the series was made Andre Russell.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team managed to win the title in 2016 IPL . In the final, Virat Kohli’s team RCB had to face defeat. Virat Kohli became the Man of the Series in the 2016 IPL.
In the 2017 IPL season, Mumbai Indians won the IPL title for the third time, in the final, Mumbai had defeated the Rising Pune Supergiant. All-rounder Ben Stokes became the man of the series.
In the 2018 IPL, the team of Chennai Super Kings managed to win the IPL title for the third time. CSK won the final by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final. Sunil Narine was once again successful in winning the Man of the Series title.
In the 2019 IPL, the Mumbai Indians once again won the title and made it amazing to become the champion for the fourth time. In the final, Mumbai managed to become champions by defeating CSK by 1 run.
