According to the Panchang, every year Sri Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated on the Ashtami date of the Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month and Rohini Nakshatra. Sometimes in astrology calculations there is a difference of time between the date and the constellation, so the dates differ.

According to the Hindu calendar, Bhadrapada Krishna Ashtami Tithi starts from 09.06 am on August 11, which will remain at 11:30 am on August 12.
