Kolkata: Border Security Force (BSF) personnel are helping the country’s border security by moving people in trouble due to the lockdown on Corona. Talking about Bengal, in the border areas bordering Bangladesh here, if a person is facing any kind of problems from food to the present time, then BSF is helping them fully.
Ration distributed to more than 100 laborers
On Wednesday, relief ration materials were distributed among more than 100 laborers with the help of an NGO from the South Bengal Frontier of BSF. DIG of South Bengal Frontier Surjit Singh Guleria said that the laborers of Murshidabad were trapped due to the lockdown. After this, with the help of an NGO called Khardah Manan Welfare Society, ration materials were sent to these workers trapped in Howrah’s Jaipur Amraguri area. He told that in this hour of crisis, we have deployed soldiers and vehicles to provide ration material to the needy people. We are doing this with the help of NGOs.
We are absolutely ready on the border
The DIG said, “On one hand, we are completely over the border and trying to stop trans border crime. On the other hand, if a person has any problem due to lockdown anywhere in the border area, BSF is helping them further. They said, we have ambulances in the border area. We are helping someone when he falls ill. Apart from this, if no one has ration, food is a problem, then we are also helping him. Ration material is being delivered to them.
