Despite the brain surgery of former President Pranab Mukherjee hospitalized in the army, the condition is not improving and it remains serious. He is on ventilator support at ICU of Army RR (Research and Referral) Hospital, Dhaulakuan. He is being treated by a team of expert doctors from several departments of the hospital including Neuro Surgery, Neurology. The statement released by the hospital on Tuesday evening said the former president underwent brain surgery on August 10. There is no improvement in his condition and it has deteriorated.
The former President, who was conferred with the Bharat Ratna, was admitted to the Army Hospital in Dhaulakuan in a critical condition at around 12 noon on Monday. Investigations found that there was a large blood clot in his brain. Because of this, his immediate surgery was necessary. Corona was also examined before surgery, which was reported positive. After this, Pranab had tweeted and reported himself to be Corona positive and said that the people who came in contact with him in a week should also get their investigation done and become isolated.

Remove blood clots from the brain
The doctors later performed her surgery to remove the blood clots from the brain. As soon as the news of the former president’s hospitalization spread, people from different areas wished him speedy recovery. President Ram Nath Kovind and Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu spoke to Pranab’s daughter Sharmistha Mukherjee to get information about his health. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh went to the hospital and asked the doctors about Pranab’s health. They stayed there for about 20 minutes. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and many others wished him a speedy recovery.
