Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma, the most successful team of the Indian Premier League, is considered by all. The four-times IPL trophy has been won by Rohit’s team. Mumbai is followed by Chennai Super Kings, which is captained by Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Ambati Rayudu, who has played for Mumbai and now part of Chennai, has described Rohit’s captaincy as Dhoni.
Asked about the difference between Rohit Sharma and Dhoni’s captaincy, Rayudu said, “Dhoni has captained us all. Be it Rohit Sharma or Virat Kohli and that’s why Rohit has become whatever he is because of MS Dhoni. Rohit has learned a lot from Dhoni, there is not much difference between the captaincy of these two but I feel that he is going in the right direction. ”
Under Rohit’s captaincy, the Mumbai team has managed to win the IPL trophy four times. In 2013, the team won this title for the first time. It then set a winning record three times with wins in 2015 and 2017. By defeating Chennai last time, under Rohit’s captaincy, the team set the record for winning it the most four times.
Further, Rayudu praised Rohit’s captaincy and said that he will achieve the same success as Dhoni. “They still have a long way to go and achieve everything that Dhoni has achieved as captain. I am sure that he will achieve everything.”
Talking about Suresh Raina, Rayudu said that he can return to Indian. Regarding his left-handed Chennai partner, he said, “He still has a lot of cricket left in him. I bet he will definitely make a comeback in the Indian team.”
