Beijing, IANS. Amidst the growing havoc of the corona virus worldwide, Chinese scientists have made a major achievement in dealing with it. Here scientists claim to have created a nano material that can fight this virus. The city of Wuhan in China is called the birthplace of the corona virus (Covid 19). The most wreaked havoc of the corona virus was seen in Wuhan itself. So far more than 3 thousand people have died of corona virus in China.
According to Global Times report, Chinese scientists have not made any medicine or compound, but are claiming to eliminate the virus through a nano material. He says that this nano material can absorb viruses from 96.5 to 99.9 percent in an accurate manner and neutralize them. Nano materials are used to prepare many products ranging from insulation and lubricant additives. Many nano enzymes are also used in the field of health.
According to the US National Institutes of Health, nano particles designed in a specific way and purpose can be very beneficial. However, very little is known about their impact on people’s health and environment. Even silver, generally considered beneficial, can cause major damage if converted into a nano particle.
Significantly, the corona virus has spread from Wuhan city of China to the whole world. So far, over seven lakh people have become infected worldwide, while more than 35 thousand people have died. The hope is that the new nano will help to control the material transition. Many countries are working on the corona virus vaccine. These include the United States, Britain and China. The US has also started testing vaccine on humans. However, the vaccine may take several months to prepare. Therefore, according to the World Health Organization, social distancing is the most effective way to fight the corona virus.
