New Delhi. After identifying the increasing number of corona virus patients and their hotspots in the country, the government has prepared a containment plan to keep the virus confined to the same area. In the event of further spread of the corona virus in the hotspot area, the containment plan will be implemented. The plan has explained in detail what measures will be required to spread the virus and what will be the role.
The task of confining the virus will be at war level
According to the Containment Plan released on Saturday, the corona virus is expected to outbreak in some areas like the H1N1 virus of swine flu. At the same time, most parts of the country will survive this. In such a situation, the task of keeping the virus confined to the same area will have to be done on a war footing. A slight omission in this may cause the virus to wreak havoc in other areas. The government fears that the outbreak of the corona virus is more likely in densely populated areas of cities and less in open rural areas.
Only 14 percent of patients will need to be kept in hospital
The Containment Plan, outlining the preparedness at Corona’s outbreak, states that 81 percent of patients suffering from it have symptoms of the disease in general. Only 14 per cent of the patients will need to be kept in hospital and only five per cent are patients who have to look at life support systems like ventilators.
Serious patients will be kept in specialized hospitals for Corona only.
It is obvious that the terminally ill people will not need to be kept in the hospital and arrangements should be made for them to be kept close to the special hospitals meant for Corona. For this, hotels, guest houses and the existing Correntine Center can be used. Only those patients, whose condition is critical, will be kept in the special hospital for Corona. This is necessary for better utilization of health services.
Containment Plan – No person will be allowed to exit
The most important part of the Containment Plan released on Saturday is to keep such an area completely isolated. According to this, no person will be allowed to move out of such area. All routes will be closed. Detailed information will be kept of every visitor for essential services and the officers will be constantly updated about the same.
Containment plan will have a massive testing campaign
In the planning plan under the supervision of the District Magistrate, a massive testing campaign will be carried out among the people and every positive of Corona will be immediately isolated. At the same time, extensive and intensive publicity campaign will be carried out to protect the common people from the virus, so that those who avoid it can be protected from the virus.
The presence of the virus will be ensured by checking the corona of each person
In the outbreak area, every person suffering from breathlessness and colds will be subjected to corona examination to ensure the presence of its virus. Along with this, sample testing will also be done for those people, in which the symptoms of corona have not been revealed. So that it can be found out how many people are affected by corona virus, but it could not affect them.
The area marked in the Containment Plan will be made a buffer zone
There is also a provision to identify a buffer zone around the area marked in the Containment Plan. In this buffer zone special attention will be given to patients with symptoms of corona virus. So that if somehow the virus is able to get out of the containment area, then it can be stopped in the buffer zone itself.
