In Punjab, out of 490 cases, the maximum number of 207 came from Dera Ghazi Khan district. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa registered 180 cases, Balochistan 133, Gilgit-Baltistan 107 cases, while in Islamabad it was 39 and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir ( POK), 2 cases were reported. Twenty-five people have recovered so far. Meanwhile, health consultant Zafar Mirza said that a team of eight Chinese doctors would arrive in Pakistan to review the steps taken by the government to deal with the coronovirus outbreak. They will share their experiences with local doctors.
Meanwhile, amid growing Corona virus cases in Pakistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan has lifted the nationwide ban on essential commodities. Apart from this, it has also been decided to allow food-related industries to open to ensure adequate supply of essential commodities.
