In view of the corona virus, the UK government has decided to give a one-year extension in the visa of foreign doctors including India.

London, Pratr. The UK government said on Tuesday that foreign doctors, including India, whose visas expire in October this year, will get automatic extensions for a year as they are battling the Corona virus epidemic. The scheme announced by Britain’s Home Minister Preeti Patel will benefit about 28,000 migrant doctors, nurses and others whose visas are due to expire on October 1.

Patel said doctors, nurses and paramedical staff are playing a leading role in the National Health Service’s efforts to combat the corona virus and save lives. We thank them all for the work they do.

The Indian-origin minister said that I do not want to distract them from the visa process. That is why I automatically extended his visa for one year for free. The Ministry of Home Affairs said that this increase in visa would also apply to their family members.
