New Delhi In this era of corona virus pandemic, everyone is helping others in their own way. Some are donating to PM and CM funds, while some are helping people through an NGO. In such a situation, TV and film producer Ekta Kapoor has found a way to help her company’s employees, which is being praised.
Actually, Ekta has decided that she will not take her year-long salary so that the company is reduced financial burden and it does not have a bad impact on their employees. Giving information about this decision, Ekta tweeted – There is only one way to move forward, simultaneously. With this, Ekta has shared an official statement – Corona’s impact is big, unimaginable and in many ways. We all need to do something that will reduce the difficulties of the people and countrymen around us.
It is my responsibility to the freelancers and daily wage workers who work at Bala Telefilms to take care of the damage they are doing because of the shooting stops and the uncertainty. That is why I am leaving my one-year salary, which becomes 2.5 crore rupees, so that my colleagues do not have any problem during this time.
Explain that the shooting of films and serials has stopped completely due to the lockdown, leaving thousands of daily wage workers and freelancers working in the TV and film industry unemployed. With the loss of income, there is a crisis of livelihood in front of them. Industry institutions and artists are helping them in their own way. Salman Khan, Ajay Devgan and Rohit Shetty have donated for Daily Wage Workers.
