Giving this information, the Government of India has said that the Kerala government has issued revised guidelines for exemption in lockdown. In its order, the Government of Kerala has allowed to open activities that were prohibited in the April 15 order of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Such additional activities offered by the Government of Kerala include the opening of local workshops. Apart from this, the state government has given orders to open barber shops, restaurants and book stores in many areas, and also to open medium and small industries (MSMEs) falling within the municipal limits. Apart from this, bus travel has also been approved in cities/towns for short distances, etc.
