The Central Government has taken several steps to break the links of the virus. If a lockdown is announced, people have also been advised to maintain a distance of at least one meter from each other. Now the ministry has asked the elders not to leave the house. Stay away from people. If someone comes to meet them at home, then keep a certain distance from them. Wash your hands and face with soap for a while. They have been asked to eat nutritious, fresh and hot food cooked at home. The elderly have also been advised to drink fresh juice to increase the body’s resistance.

People of age have also been asked to exercise according to their physical ability. It has also been advised to take regularly prescribed medicines and avoid unnecessary surgery. Special attention has also been given to cleanliness. Fever, cough and difficulty in breathing have been asked to contact a nearby health center immediately and follow the advice accordingly.

Elderly is forbidden to cough or sneeze without covering an open hand or face. Those who have fever or cough are advised not to go near them. It is also forbidden to take any medicine by itself. Regular checks are advised on any problems. As far as possible, it has been suggested to consult a doctor over the telephone. It is also said to avoid going to crowded places like parks, markets and religious places if not very necessary.
