BCCI is still confused about the IPL's 13th season, whether IPL will happen this time or not.

New Delhi, ANI. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is in a dilemma about the 13th season of the Indian Premier League, ie, whether the world’s most expensive T20 cricket league will be held this time due to Corona virus. BCCI sources said on Monday that the board is not in a position to take a decision on IPL as the Corona virus is spreading rapidly in the country, which the government is taking steps to deal with.

BCCI sources have said, “No decision has been taken yet on IPL. We are currently in a state of weight and watch and will take a decision according to the circumstances (corona virus).” Let me tell you that IPL 2020 was supposed to start on March 29, but due to Corona virus, the league date had to be shifted. The BCCI had decided this month that the 13th season of IPL is being suspended till 15 April.

The corona virus clouds are also hovering over IPL 2020, as the league has been postponed by BCCI till 15 April, but India has a lockdown till 14 April. In this situation, the commencement of IPL from April 15 is impossible. Even the next advisory of the Government of India will come out on April 15, in which a visa policy can be announced. However, BCCI sources say that we are currently monitoring the situation.

Talking about this epidemic spreading from Wuhan city of China, around 1000 cases of corona virus have been reported in India, while 29 people have swallowed this life. At the same time, worldwide death toll has crossed 30 thousand, which is a matter of thinking for everyone. Even if the tournaments like Olympics have been canceled, IPL is a very small tournament.
