The country will celebrate Republic Day on 26 January. Our great constitution came into force on this day in 1950. Republic Day is the celebration of democracy. The Constitution was adopted by the Constituent Assembly of India on 26 November 1949 to become an independent republic and to establish the rule of law in the country and was implemented on 26 January 1950 with a democratic government system. Every year, entire countrymen celebrate Republic Day (Gantantra Diwas) with much pomp and gaiety.
