Coronavirus Dr. Jennings stated that common pneumonia affects one part of the lung while the corona engulfs the entire lung.

New Delhi Coronavirus: Scientists fighting the Corona virus are facing many challenges. At first, how it spreads so accurately, which people have a terrible effect, how the corona leaves its terrible effect on the human body, why a quarter of the infected have no symptoms. A similar problem is that of pneumonia.

Thus, pneumonia is common all over the world and its medicines are also available, but the kind of pneumonia that Corona produces is very fatal and the chances of death of the patient increases greatly.

President of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and the globally famous Prof. John Wilson is doing research in this regard. He did CT scans of the lungs of a lot of patients and a special pattern emerged in all. The corona virus forms a layer from outside the human lungs, resembling a jelly of sorts. As the infection progresses, it goes on reducing the flowering space of the lungs. The effect of this is that the supply of oxygen in the body keeps decreasing and the end is very painful.

One out of six patients gets worse: Prof. Wilson states that only one of the six corona-infected patients falls seriously ill. Inflammation occurs in the respiratory tree. This makes the body feel terrible. Even the third stage of corona infection is ongoing. Pro. Wilson explains that through the gases of the body, the corona is released into the lower part of the lungs and causes swelling there.

It spreads rapidly through the fluid and also reaches the upper part of the lungs. There is a severe disturbance. As the corona virus starts taking the lungs in its own way, the ability of the lungs to get oxygen and release it starts decreasing. Along with this, the process of depositing carbon dioxide from the body and leaving it outside is also affected, due to which many problems arise in the body. The entire respiratory system starts to sit and the entire body cells come under heavy pressure.

How Corona’s Pneumonia Differs : Dr. Christian Wilson, President of the Australian Lung Foundation, explains that we know many types of pneumonia. Most are caused by bacteria. We also have their exact treatment. Antibiotic benefits greatly in almost all. Corona is a virus, so antibiotics are not affected. Dr. Jennings explained why corona pneumonia is so dangerous. They reported that in normal pneumonia, one part of the lung is affected, while the corona engulfs the entire lung.

There is no exact cure available. Dr. Jennings explains that we do not have the exact treatment of the kind of pneumonia that Corona produces. We are trying a combination of many viral and anti-viral drugs. Along with this, we try to maintain abundant levels of oxygen in the body. If other parts of the body are motivated to perform normal functioning due to abundant doses of oxygen then we have a good chance of recovery.

The infected can be divided into 4 classes:

In the first category they are infected, in which no symptoms are seen. These are called sub-clinical patients. Various researches and the Communicable Diseases Society of America (CDC) opine that about 25 percent of the patients can be placed in such a category.
The second category includes those who have cough, headache and fever. Pro. Wilson explains that such patients also experience mild breathing problems. They can be treated by keeping them in isolation or in the general ward of the hospital. Their death rate is almost zero.
Patients in the third category have severe breathing problems. They cannot even talk. Many mental problems also come to them, because the supply of oxygen in the body is reduced. They need to shift to ICU. There is a possibility of death of these patients. There have been many deaths of such patients in Italy.
The fourth class consists of patients who develop pneumonia. They are less likely to survive. Professor Wilson states that the condition is seen in less than 6% of patients. It is seen more in elderly patients. By the way, simple pneumonia is also more common in the elderly.
