Russia's President Putin said that this morning, for the first time in the world, the vaccine has been registered against the new Corona virus.

Russia named its first approved COVID-19 vaccine for foreign markets Sputnik V. Russia has become the first country to approve the vaccine. Kirill Dimitrik, head of Russia’s sovereign wealth fund, has reported that more than 20 countries have ordered 1 billion doses of the Corona vaccine. He was speaking after President Vladimir Putin announced his approval after less than two months of human trials.

Russia’s President Putin said that this morning, for the first time in the world, the vaccine has been registered against the new Corona virus. He thanked all those who worked on this vaccine. Putin claimed that the vaccine had gone through all the required tests. Now this vaccine will be sent for mass production.

Kirill Dimitric compared the creation of the vaccine to the 1957 Sputnik 1 satellite in the Soviet Union, the world’s first satellite. It was hailed as a historic Sputnik moment. He said that the vaccine will be marketed in foreign markets under the name of ‘Sputnik V’.

Who will get first vaccine

According to the Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko, vaccination to health workers may begin this month. First line health workers in Russia will be vaccinated with the corona vaccine. After this, the senior citizen will be given vaccine.

Production can take place from September on a large scale

Currently, this vaccine has been prepared on a limited scale. If its regulatory approval has been found, then the industrial level of this vaccine can start from September. Russia has said that it can start vaccinating nationwide from October.

Questions raised by scientists of the world

The pace at which Russia is moving forward to manufacture the vaccine has led some international scientists to question whether Moscow does not endanger the safety of people without examining the standards.
