SB Balasubramaniam, popularly known as ‘Paadum Nila’ in Indian cinema, died on Friday 25 September at the age of 74. This information was given by his son SP Charan and MGM Hospital. Admitted to the hospital on August 5, Baloo’s condition was extremely critical for the last 48 hours and he was on the life support system.
A very sad news was heard on Friday afternoon. Eminent Bollywood singer SP Balasubramaniam died at 1.04 pm today. According to the information, he was infected with corona, which was being treated for a long time.

His mortal will be taken to his farmhouse on the outskirts of Chennai tonight, and there he will be laid to rest 10:30am tomorrow.
The funeral of legendary singer SPB, will take place at the family’s farmhouse, where his mortal remains will be kept for the public to pay their last respects.
The family’s spoke person told to media that the funeral will happen at SPB’s farmhouse on Friday evening or on Saturday morning.

MGM Healthcare in a statement said: “In a further setback this morning, despite maximal life support measures and the best efforts of the clinical team, his condition deteriorated further and he suffered a cardio-respiratory arrest. With profound grief, we regret to inform that he has passed away on September 25 at 13.04 hours.”

On August 5, SBP was diagnosed with coronavirus and admitted to a private hospital in Chennai. SBP posted a video on its official Facebook page saying it had a mild corona infection .
He was shifted to the emergency department on the 13th August due to ill health. He was treated with artificial respiration and fitted with ecmo equipment and consulted with foreign medical professionals. His health returned to normal little by little. His health was clear enough to eat through the mouth.
In the meantime, his health suddenly deteriorated again yesterday (September 24). His condition worsened as his pre-existing lung infection suddenly increased. Also, there was bleeding in the brain. He died at around 1 pm today (September 25) without receiving any treatment from doctors. Director Venkat Prabhu confirmed this on his Twitter post. SBP’s son Charan also confirmed the news of the disappearance on Twitter.

In the 80’s and 90’s, SP Balasubramaniam drove Bollywood crazy with his voice. He had sung for many blockbuster movies of actor Salman Khan’s 90s. For Salman, SP Balasubramaniam sang for the first time in the film ‘Hum Aapke Hai Kaun’. Their journey continued. He has sung the title track in Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express.
SP was last seen on Instagram on 5 August. Posting a video, he had said, “I was having a little trouble for two-three days. I also had a cold and fever. I did not want to take it easily. When I went to the hospital for an examination, the doctors said it was corona There is a mild case. They told me to stay home and take medicine. But, I did not want to do that because my family is very worried. I got hospitalized. In two days I will be fine. I rest here. I have come to do, so you cannot receive all of my calls. Thank you for my concern. ”
SP Balasubramaniam is a leading singer in all languages like Tamil, Telugu and Kannada for over 50 years. SP Balasubramaniam was recognized as the voice of Salman Khan in the 90s. He has sung more than 40 thousand songs in 16 Indian languages. SP Balasubramanian Padmashree (2001) and Padmabhushan (2011) honors were awarded by the Government of India.
