SP Balasubramaniam used to be the voice of Salman Khan, many superhit songs given to Bollywood
SPB, who beats the hearts of people with his velvet voice, said goodbye to the world. 74 years old S. P. Balasubramanian breathed his last at around 1:04pm. minutes in this afternoon. S.P. Balasubramanian also made a distinct identity in the singing of Hindi films. Everyone from Bollywood to Tollywood is mourning the news of the demise of a great singer. Balasubramanian was also known as the voice of Salman Khan. He sang many hit songs of Salman, which people still enjoy.
All songs were sung by SP Balasubramanian for the Salman Khan and Bhagyashree starrer superhit film Maine Pyaar Kiya, which became super-duper hit. After that he sang all the songs in the early days of Salman’s career and was also known as the voice of Salman Khan for many years.

Apart from this, there are many such songs, which he gave his voice. Bala Saheb sang his first song in Telugu language. After this he gave his voice for songs from Kannada and then Hindi films. SP in Bollywood Balasubramanian gave his voice in films like ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’, ‘Andha Kanoon’, ‘Saajan’, ‘100 Days’, ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Angar’ and many more.
SP Balasubramanian was born into a Telugu family in Nellore and his father S.P. Sambamurthy was a Harikatha Artist. Apart from the playback singer, Balasubramaniam was also a music director, actor, dubbing artist and film producer.
S.P. Balasubrahmanyam’s full name is Sripati Panditradhyadhula Balasubramanian. SP, popularly known as ‘Balu’ and ‘Paadum Nila’ in Indian cinema. He had recorded more than 40 thousand songs in 16 Indian languages. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 2001 and the Padma Bhushan in 2011. His name is also recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.
